That is about where it ends for me. I was told by not one but two salesmen at a store I go to to check out gear in the hand before i buy, that these reels have a lot of returns and servicing done on them. They said the most common was with the drag and anti reverse going bad fast. These are Chinese made reels and here in the U.S. you have to go through Biminy bay outfitters ( distributors of Tsunami, Ande) to get anywhere with servicing. Although these reels look nice and all, the two gentlemen helping me recommended an Avet instead as they were a little cheaper and customer service is much better there, which i have first hand knowledge of and agree with. The drag is a little less on the Avets, but at least their warrantied for life and never really need replacement.

This is my second maxel. Fit and finish is excellent on these reels. Anti reverse is very impressive (no play at all). The drag system is very smooth and powerful. Overall a very nice higher end reel.
