The Major Craft Jigpara Slow Pitch Jig features an oval-shaped body that lets it splash in at a high pitch and fall slowly like a leaf. The center is balanced toward the rear so it stays in the right stance for a long cast. Two assist hooks on the front and one single assist hook on the rear are assembled and ready for use.

Great action and flash
May 31, 2020
These have great slow jig action and nice action when cast and jigged on the retrieve. I removed one set of the hooks. I've also seen people use these with hooks on the either the top or on the bottom. I've also seen a video of John Skinner using a similar lure with the hooks on the bottom with a fast action "squididing" fast retrieve jig technique to catch stripers and blues.

These jigs are my go to if the bite is tough. You can straight drop over holding fish or structure or cast and let fall on the angle of the cast. I would recommend removing the bottom hook if you want to catch and release with a better result. The back hook was designed to help stomach hook fish in deep water to stop them spinning out of the front assist hooks.

effective jig
July 15, 2019
I have been using these for bottom fish and basically to learn, the price point is not bad, caught some 5 ft sharks on them so the tackle is good, action is consistent, endless amounts of reef fish, spanish mackeral, flounder.... you name it. I wish they made a bigger profile one as well. Overall i give this jig 4 stars and recommend you give it a try.
