The MagicTail Roundhead Bucktail lures are all built with Mustad black nickel hooks, designed with fluke in mind. The hooks are super sharp and strong. The hooks however, are not up to par for striped bass. These lures come in 16 colors with a strip of flashaboo.

Very happy with these bucktails, the hooks are razor sharp, work great on fluke

Been hammering big fluke on these bucktails mainly on a hi-lo rig
Pros
  • Size, color, action and the hook is sized perfectly. I believe 5/0
Cons
  • Bucktail hair comes off after a few dozen fluke strikes turning to a chartuse jig head
  • (However,Still gulp worthy)
