The Madd Mantis Original PBJ Jigs are back from the dead. Once made famous under the Sting-O brand, these jigs were unbelievable on bluefin and yellowfin tuna, striped bass, bluefish, and more! Known for their no nonsense and simplistic design, these jigs crush when the fish are keyed in on sand eels. The PBJ jigs now come unrigged, allowing you to customize the rigging to your liking and application, with an assist hook or two fixed to the top of the jig or a j hook attached to the bottom as common rigging practices. There is nothing much more exciting than hooking a large tuna on the jig, especially as you get deeper into the summer and the troll bite starts to die off with rising sea temperatures. Be sure to have a few PBJ jigs ready to go in your jig bag when the jig bite gets hot, you will be glad you did.

Can bend the jig with your hands straight out the packaging. Only upside is you can put your own split/solid ring and assist hooks on.

Great Jig

Jig has great action for inshore and offshore species. 5oz is heavy enough to fish deep or in current without being too large.

Love these jigs. I have been using them for years for African Pompano/Amerjacks/Tunas/Groupers in the Gulf of Mexico. I love that they come unrigged and I can make my own assist hooks for them.

Great action

I like this lure because they have a great shape with produced great action for a great variety of species. I use these lures in New Jersey for stripers, bluefish and tunas. And I brought one to Costa Rica which worked out great for jigging on the reefs and offshore for tuna. I do wish that it came rigged with double assist hooks to add value though.
