dose chirp transducer have to be mtg outside of boat or can it be installed in side

The Chirp transducer needs to be mounted on the outside of the vessel to work properly.

how many watts are the transducer?

Those will do 600watt transducers. But, the model 000-11662-001 with the TD code LOW-0354 does not come with a transducer. The rest of them do.
