After a few months the x models suck

Hook2 7x gps model. Has a hard time in deep water. Loses depth at times for extended periods of time. Also no split screen on x models make the chrip and downscan a pain to use. Really needs to be updated

I have older 7" lowrance units front and back . wish I had replaced all. I would like the down side transducer to be shorter.

I just got it about a month ago only problem I'm having is the transducer cable is a little short for my pontoon boat. And I'm waiting for them to get an extension in stock for the transducer

Bought it one month ago at Bass Pro Shop. Still waiting on the installation. Got the Hook2 7x tripleshot as a recommendation by a friend. This goes on my trolling motor, but I decided I don't really want side scan on troller, so I am having splitshot sKimmer transducer put on instead of tripleshot transducer. Still waiting on install. Argggh.
