The Lowrance 000-12568-001 Totalscan Skimmer Transom Mount Transducer 455/800 is an all-in-one transducer that matches proven CHIRP sonar with DownScan Imaging and StructureScan HD technology, making it possible to search for fish-holding structure and target fish with the same transducer.

The Lowrance TotalScan transducer features multiple mounting options and is fully compatible with displays featuring integrated StructureScan HD, like Elite-5 Ti, Elite-7 Ti, Lowrancer HDS Gen3, Simrad NSS evo2, and NSO evo2 via the SonarHub Sounder Module.

Note: When a TotalScan transducer is connected to a legacy display with a 7-pin blue connector, the side-scanning feature will not function.

That will work with the proper adapter cable but we recommend an easier better performing solution. TD code SMR-0366 would be perfect.

No, his will not. You will need a 9 pin transducer.

I have a simrad nss 8 still in the box . Is this compatible? I'm not looking into using radar.

The NSS 8 is not compatible with the Totalscan transducer. You can however add radar.
