Great lure, works amazing for Large mouth around docks and working weed edges. easy to rig and stays weedless. only complaint is the plastic wears out after a fish or 2.

Extremely Realistic Shad/Menhaden Imitation Bait

Extremely realistic with a phenomenal action imitating a wounded baitfish with a killer glide/flutter action. Great for conditions that require a more natural looking bait. They are a bit pricey for the number of baits you get however they are extremely durable and rigging them weedless almost never means you lose a bait.

Although this lure can be rigged with weight and fished under the surface of the water my favorite way to rig this lure is weightless. That way I can akip this lure across the surface of the water and it has incredible action. I love this lure in my local lakes for bass, but I also bring this lure down to Costa Rica for night time snook and jacks.

Love this for the finicky bass that won’t hit a frog on top of pads. Topwater fishing is one of the most exciting types of fishing and this just adds another dimension to it.

I got the chance to finally get out and try these last weekend on the California Delta. I rigged it on an Owner Weighted Twistlock and was able to pitch and skip it into pockets of grass and underneath hanging tree branches. The first time I threw it I noticed that by adding the weighted hook it created an action similar to that of a tube. I would pitch it up into holes and saw that it would spiral downward erratically like an injured fish. I thought to myself that I could be on to something. I skipped it up into the trough that's created by the grass and rock levee and the thing got absolutely thumped. After spending an afternoon with this bait I can confidently say that I'm not leaving the boat launch without having one tied on.

- You can get creative when rigging this bait. Don't just default on the standard Texas rig.
