Does it even wake?
December 28, 2019
Beautiful lure, super expensive. I have used wake baits in the past, mostly for bass fishing. They are awesome and look amazing coming through the water. This one doesn’t? I may be wrong, but isn’t it supposed to be on top or just below the water and make a wake when reeled in? It’s almost as if the lure is too heavy to be a top water.
Pros
  • Excellent appearance
Cons
  • Doesn?t wake as advertised.

Another great mullet imitation by this company. This lure worked great last September. Produced when others did not.

Dissapointing
October 14, 2013
I purchased a Mullet wakebait for fishing for Reds and Trout. I really wanted to like this lure. However after 2 or 3 days of use, most of the paint got wore off the body. Not what I would expect from an $18 lure! Also, for a wakebait, the lure is possibly too heavy. It was difficult to get it to wake, most of the time it would sit 1ft below th waters surface, I think a bit more bouyancy may be required here. I will now go beck to my old trusty (cheap) Cotton Cordell Redfins.
Pros
  • Looks good.
Cons
  • Poor quality finish, action not good for a wakebait.
