These Croaker Swimbaits are effective for catching anything from stripers in the Northeast to redfish, sea trout, and snook off the Gulf Coast. They come rigged and ready to fish right out of the package. The LIVETARGET Croaker swimbaits utilize an extra wide-gap low profile hook on the top where the dorsal fin actually serves as a hook protector, allowing the bait to pass through objects in the water without getting hung up. An accessory pin is located on the belly where spinner blades, weights, or additional hooks can be fitted.

Tackle direct sent me a replacement for the "defective Livetarget Croaker lure" that I refrenced in my previous review along with pictures where it tore.
As I said previously this lure is very realistic looking and swims great. I'm looking forward to putting it to use before the season closes.

Great looking lure, swims nicely, but after 1 hour of use at the beach a day after receiving it and the lure tore/ripped. I had one thump that was probably a snook and that was it. When leaving I noticed the damage to the lure.
Obviously a lure won't last forever, but 1 hour of use is not enough for a $$ lure. Its not like it was bitt in half by a toothy fish, it simply ripped.

Couldn't wait to hit the beach with the Live Target Croaker it looks and swims great.
After only 1 hour of fishing the beach I went to load up, and that's when I noticed the split/tear in the lure. I had one thump that may have been a snook, but mainly just casting and retrieving. Bait works great, but beware your $$ lure may not last long.

I would go with the bigger size for this lure as the action isnt great on the smaller size, it's pricey for what you get but it'd a good lure and worth a spot in your tackle box.

I really love this lure. Casts great and has a good feel in the water. It is really well made and holds up. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I have not caught anything with it yet. :)

An excellent looking, feeling and swimming reproduction of a croaker. Very real looking, I can not wait to try to fool a fish with these. As usual price , selection, customer service and shipping times were excellent from Tackle Direct.

These Live Target swimbaits are so lifelike I thought I saw one wiggle. They were bought for saltwater, but will be tried in freshwater. They look enough like small suckers to fool any fish, freshwater or saltwater! They look VERY durable also. They're a bit pricey but, you get what you pay for. R. N. Potter
