Good for easy catch and release. Scale is ok but just an extra as I purchased this more for being able to hold and release fish.

Grasps fish with confidence.
August 4, 2015
Purchased this to replace my prior Boca grip. The Boca tool was giving me a hard time releasing fish due to the aggresive teeth of the device. It would tend to damage the fish I intended to release.
Pros
  • Confident grip and easy release.
Cons
  • Would like to see this model with a double trigger.

Bought this to replace my larger Rapala unit. This is cheap for what it is ... because it works as well as any others at much lower price point. Is now my must-have in the tackle box. Markings has not faded despite my using it for every trip since I bought it.
Pros
  • Light
  • Durable
Cons
  • Nothing much to complain at this price point.
