Works, but not great quality

You get what you pay for with this gripper - it is way cheaper than the top quality ones on the market, and it does the job - it grips the fish's mouth. It's neat that it has a measuring tape on it as well. However, within 3 days of kayak fishing with it and freshwater rinses after every use, it began to rust and stick. It still works, but it takes some strength to open and the tape measure is just about rusted stuck.

Good gripper

I bought this product several years ago as an impulse buy when a store was going out of business. I've been relatively pleased with it thus far as a fish gripper. It will hold heavy fish securely and easily. The ruler ended up corroding to the point it became unusable, but that was partially my fault for not pulling it out and oiling it between trips. I ended up cutting off the broken tape measure with a hack saw and using a dremel to smooth it out so it now fits in a "boga grip" tool holder I bought for my boat.

Bought this for the scale mostly and works good. Had no issues after two years of use. Comfortable to grip and easy to use.

A very practical product that saves you the complication of keeping the grip in a hand and measure the length of the fish with the other hand ... impossible because you need three hands. With this grip measuring operation takes much less and chances for the fish to survive, for catch and release fishing, are much higher.

Purchased the Digital grip scale primarily to weigh fish during club tournaments for culling purposes. Now I use it more to boat white bass and some largemouth with a mouth full of crank bait hooks. Quicker than a net at times. Scales are super accurate. Just remember to Zero them out before weighing the next fish.
