I saw one on a rod on a Party Boat a few weeks ago and asked about it , It's owner said that it's faster and getting a knife out or the cutters on pliers , Tested it on everything I had line wise , Braid and Mono up to 80 lb. Works great definitely going to get a few more the next time I order from TD.

My 9 year old son saw the line cutter ring on Shark Tank and had to have it. My husband fishes on a fishing team so my son bought one for each person on the team. They tried it out for the first time this weekend on a tournament and the owner of Yellow Fin boats and Salty Printing also fished the tournament with them on the Haulin Grass and they thought the ring was amazing. They actually want my son to help them get a bulk order to add to the Yellow Fin owner gift baskets at the Yellow Fin Tournament this summer.

I used this on a trip to Canada to do some ice fishing. The Velcro strap held the ring tight around my gloved finger. Had several fellow fisherman ask where i got it.. Can't wait until summer to use it then. I think i will attach it to my pole handle for hands free use. Will order more to share with friends.

I purchased this cutter to place on my fishing rod. Although its colder here in NY, the lakes have not frozen over yet. The cutter works great , without having to use clippers, which I have a habit of losing. The blade is sharp and recessed for safety. I am going to order several to give to friends as gifts.

Is this also used to tighten braided line knots before tightening? I often get cuts on my hands and fingers when trying to cinch down any knots that I am tying with braid. I have seen some very clever rings that you are supposed to wrap the braid around before pulling the knot tight and if this is one of those, it would be perfect!
