Bought a pair of these water activated lights for a recent deep drop charter out of Virginia Beach.

This is a really neat concept that works as designed. Once the light touches the water, the strobe begins to flash.

I can't speak to the effectiveness of the light as everybody on the boat, light or not (most had lights), had similar success.

Unfortunately we lost one due to getting cut off by a fish but I will definitely be buying more for our next offshore adventure
