i love these hooks they are pretty sharp but I would recommend to sharpen them carbon steel is pretty easy to sharpen and can get very very sharp. perfect hook for sharks really strong and cheap to.

I purchased these hooks based on a recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. I was told up front that I should expect to have to sharpen them when I got them and that held true. They were sharp but not razor sharp so a little time with a file got them where I wanted them. Spent a week in Florida catching Goliath Grouper, Sharks, and other game fish. Not a single issue with these hooks. They held strong against a 300# Goliath Grouper.
