What’s the max drag on the 3 and 4000?

Unforntly Lews does not list a max drag for this specific series reel. Normally for these size reels i would assume they are in the 10 lb max drag range.

Am I able to put braid on this spool?

Yes, just back the spool with a small amount of monofilament or electrical tape before spooling the braid.
