Well same thing happened again on my 4000 series. These screws are very easy to lose. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIGHTENING DOWN THAT SCREW BEFORE EVEN USING THIS REEL. Thats why Im giving it 3 star this time and Im being generous. But it is a good reel if you put all that aside. Its my go to favorite.
- Its a great reel with high drag and smooth retrieve
- The screw on the end of the rubber handle *where you turn the reel by hand) has come undone on both models I bought. If you drop it in the water, well your out of luck. Next you'll lose the rubber piece that it was meant to secure, and then you would be left with a bare metal reel with no handle.
- Im very lucky I found mine both times. 2nd time it was just inches from falling off the dock.
- 20 lb drag
- Super smooth
- After a lot of use, the screw that holds the black part of the handle came loose and I almost lost it in the dark. Very lucky I found it. Just screwed it back in real tight and its perfect again
- None. it doesnt work
- See above. Retrieve is worse than my grandfather's zebco.
