Purchased this combo December of 2018 based on reviews of the Lew's products and competitive price. With this purchase a promotional offer was offered for a minimal fee. It has been around 4 months since I sent the info in for the promotion and received a tracking number to track the status. Said if I hadn't received by April 7 to call the number. The helpful receptionist told me it is being processed and it could be another 8 to 10 weeks. What a joke. I guess back to more reputable companies for my fishing needs.

I bought this rod for the grips and the color. I hoped the rest would be good since I've heard good things about the Lew's brand. I was not disappointed. The rod is balanced, sensitive, and very light. Also, the grips! The reel is the smoothest I have and has the best brakes of any of my reels. Granted it is the most expensive of my reels but I have yet to get it completely dialed in so it could far surpass my reels in the $50-$80 range. Oh and the grips! All in all, very pleased with the combo.

I have both Mach l and ll now and I absolutely love them both this new mach ll is awesome with the win grips. Definitely best combos for the price I've ever bought. They are great all around rod and reels you can use them with just about any fish style you want for bass Lewis is a great company can not say anything bad about them thus far. I m a fan or there products till something can beat them that's for sure.

Description says it has sealed stainless bearings. Is it ok to use in saltwater?

This lews combo is more designed to be used in freshwater but can handle light saltwater applications.

What is the weight range as far as lures/line go?

The line rating is 110 yards of 12 lb mono. Lews does not give lure specs on there combo rods. Once the rod is available to inspect more specs will be provided.

Is this a good combo for worm fishing or better for cranking. And also looking for a sensitive rod for worming.

The rod on the Mach II Speed Spool Combo is on the lighter side compared to most other medium heavy rods. The fast action tip on this is more suitable for Texas rigged or even weightless worm fishing than it would be for cranking. This is an excellent combo at a great price!
