The Lew's MH100A Mach I Speed Spin Spinning Reel is made for Freshwater use. I would recommend the Lews CI300 Custom Inshore Speed Spin Spinning Reel. https://www.tackledirect.com/lews-ci300-custom-inshore-speed-spin-spinning-reel.html This reel was designed for Saltwater use. Lew's Ultralite Reel has been discontinued as of this year.
