Does a good job and priced nicely. Not the lightest, nor the most sensitive rod, but sensitive enough and a solid combo. Casts well with a good brake system that is easy to set. Do yourself a favor if you need an additional rod and reel.

You won’t find anywhere cheaper than here. This combo is worth every penny, nice and smooth casting. 10 ball bearings silky smooth like butter. If you need a new fishing combo get this one!

Super easy baitcaster to dial in, will cast a mile, and is a great combo for just about any kind of bait you're throwing. Shipping was faster than expected and kept me up to date on it without having to track it myself. Would highly recommend this combo!

The Lew's Mach Crush Speed Spool SLP Baitcast Combo can be used for inshore striped bass fishing. I would just maintain this reel as you would with any other saltwater bait-cast reel, daily cleaning and the reel will hold up.
