These work great ! Holds the rod in place no matter how rough the ride. I would recommend them for any application where you want your rods to stay in place under rough conditions.

Here are the dimensions of each piece's base for the Lee's Single Rod Rack set MC70SL:
Small open ring: 3" x 1 3/4"
Larger closed ring: 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"
