I bought this to replace the same set my boat was outfitted with 30 years ago. Quality hasn’t changed one bit. Just wanted to jazz up my newly rebuilt boat with some not so weathered rod holders. My old ones are being reinstalled on a smaller boat and will probably last another 30 years. Lee’s quality is second to none!

Hi Mike, According to Lee's Tackle, The Medium type has a I.D. (Inner Diameter) of 1- 5/8" inches, and the Heavy type has a I.D. of 1- 7/8" inches. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
