Is this a surf spinning or casting rod? Gor surf prrch using mono and brsided line but need the larger spinning guides????? Thank you

These rods are a spinning model surf rod, they do have larger guides than a casting model rod would

Do you think the 10ft 2-5 can throw SP minnows halfway decently?
I know rods like CTS that are rated 2-5 can handle the SP's really well.

It will throw them, but not really well. In our opinion, the CTS blanks are much better at throwing the lighter end of their range.
