Beware of Lamiglas Warranty policy !!!
October 18, 2021
The warranty offered by the Lamiglas company is horrible. If your rod brakes or is defective they will make you pay 90-130 dollars to get a replacement. There is better companies out there to buy from.
Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • Bad warranty

Good bottom fishing rod
April 25, 2019
Granted this rod was made in China it still met the quality you would expect from a product branding the Lamiglas name. I fished it in the long Island sound for bottom fish and it had good sensitivity and lots of power. For a boat rod it is pretty light in weight to. I expect may years of use out of it.
Pros
  • Plenty of back bone
  • Nice finish (blue looks sharp)
  • Good sensitivity
Cons
  • Not ideal for jigging

Lamiglas 8 ft rod.
November 26, 2018
I was looking for a good boat spinning rod and eventually ended with Lamiglas blue water 8 ft spinning. This is one of the good offshore spinning rod available in market with good backbone & sensitivity. Also you can use it for other application like jigging & trolling.

Worth every penny!

What a great rod! Paired with a Okuma CZ-12CSA Cortez its was perfectly adept at landing Black Sea Bass and Fluke while bucktailing as well as vertical jigging. Sensitive enough to feel every bottom feature and strike but with a solid backbone for pulling stubborn fish out of the rocks, this rod is light enough to fish all day! Highly recommended.

Perfect jig rod
May 28, 2017
I paired this rod with a Penn Squall reel and took it out for the NJ Fluke and Sea bass openers as my jig rod. Outstanding sensitivity with the braid, you could count the rocks it was bouncing over. Caught doubles , the rod had zero problems with bringing the fish up.The tip has a fairly fast taper making it great for flipping a jig and plenty of backbone for the heavy work. I can't wait to get this rod out to the middle ground markers for Mahi. Great rod with a great deal !
Pros
  • Light weight, great sensitivity, plenty of backbone
Cons
  • none at this time
