The Kristal Fishing XL 621M Dredge Deep Drop Manual Override Reel has a new motor that yields more torque and speed with aluminum spool, and is an electric reel with a modular design. The components are interchangeable. This reel's motor is protected by an "O" ring seal fuse holder and fuse. Comes in standard 12 volt power version. This electric fishing reel features a clicker. This reel is a powerful rod mount unit with variable retrieve speed. This fishing reel is great for deep drop fishing, teasers, and dredges.

I’m just making sure that this reel has the variable speed.? Does it come with power cord with male connector on the end? Would y’all be able install the levelwind option if I were to choose this reel

It does have variable speed, it does come with a power cord and we sell the levelwind for the reel so when your ready to purchase, order the levelwind(err-0014) and the reel. Well place the order with Kristal fishing,they'll install the levelwind ship it back to us then we can ship it to you.

Hi Bob, the Kristal Fishing XL 621 M Manual Override Electric Reel is recommended for deep drop fishing for swordfish and other species but can be used for trolling applications as well.
