Very Sharp spikes. Should work very well on the rocks at the C.C. Canal and in Montauk.

I wear a shoe size 10 waders and bought the large. The korkers seemed a bit larger for my waders. However, they worked well on the rocks.
Pros
  • Well made.

Have had a few different brands over the years but my korkers are definitely the best yet. Gotta have them when jetty and rock fishing

Got them in time to do some jetty jumping, sure is nice to have that “sure footing” feeling, they attach easily to my waders, I sized them to my wadder boot, fit is good no issues
Pros
  • Go on easy

Serious jetty shoes.
January 20, 2018
I ordered the medium 8-9 size with a little concern they might be small on my size 9 boot waders but the fit perfect. I haven't used them on a jetty yet but am confident they will provide solid footing based on use of similar studded overshoes. The construction is rugged and they seem to be easy to put over the boots and adjust with straps. Only gave it 4 stars since I haven't used them yet.

Works and fits well, extremely effective.

Fits perfectly on size 8 Pro-Line Stonee Brook (runs large) waders and size 9 Cabela's instinct waders. Secure fit, truly does not feel overly clunky or hard to walk in. Very very effective on slick, wet rocks, even ones completely covered in moss/seaweed. These are an absolutely must when fishing on/near wet rocks. For the sake of longevity, I would try not to wear these to/from your car, or whenever you don't actually need to wear them, because after a few hard uses, individual studs will fall off. I carry them to/from wherever I plan to fish.

A must have for any jetty fisherman or rock beaches. Before purchasing, I was worried about the weight and how cumbersome they may be. After using for hours at a time, I never notice they're on. The straps may need to be trimmed so you don't step on them while rock hoppin. Great product, I highly recommend!
Pros
  • Lightweight
Cons
  • Trim the inside straps before use to prevent tripping

Couldn't be happier!
October 14, 2016
Bought these to go salmon fishing. I've used the hard plastic korkers and have had my foot slip out but never once had a mishap with these. One or two studs fell out but that could have been my fault. No place to keep the excess straps down, I tired them and tucked them but they'd come loose nonetheless. Not enough to warrant 4 stars, great product!

They fit perfectly over my boots and are not too bulky, heavy or uncomfortable. They are easy on and off and seem to be able to fit a variety of boot styles. Also give great traction on slippery rocks, good purchase.

how do you size them ? for the foot or the boot ?
1 Answer
Herbert,

Both the Korker Rocktrax and Korker Casttrax are made to be worn over the intended Boot. This can be a wading boot, or any kind of boot in the size range in the Korker Specification size range. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with. Tight lines.

are the cleats replace

able?

The actual studs on these Korkers are not replaceable, but you can always drill more in to the sole with the separately sold studs.

Should we choose a size XX-large (14-15), or a size X-large (12-13), for a Korkers Rock Trax Plus: To wear with a heavy insulated boot foot wader size 13? Thank you. Alan 508-367-3937 (C) dralancordts@gmail.com

I would go with a size XL for the size boot foot waders your matching the korker over shoes with.
