Can't wait to fillet up some fish. Knife comes sharp out of the box. Can't get speak on the longevity of the knife, but knowing it's a Kershaw I have no worries.

The knife is very sharp and feels well made. The sheath is not very impressive, made of plastic and the belt loop thing is made of cheap material.

The Bought the 7" and the 9" these are the sharpest knives I've had to date. Cut Sea Trout like butter, including skin, right out of the box.

It easily fillets fluke or any other fish. Can't attest for durability as I haven't had it that long. But for the price give it a try!
