i like the profile of these, but compared to the sp minnow, i dont think they work as well. they definitely do not cast as well, but i also dont like the action as much. they are supposed to work better in heavier current.

The only aspect of the lure that keeps me from rating it a 5 is the speed of retrieve necessary to start the lure action side to side. This is obviously due to the small lip, which is necessary for other aspects of the action, so it's a give and take. But it certainly catches fish!

This lure is a workhorse. Unlike other Darters on the market, this is the only one that has a thin profile, which gives for a better action and more realistic presentation. From a design perspective, it's a bit simplicistic, which isn't a bad thing, but for the price, I feel like in most cases you could get by with a Longshot Bomber in the same color for $4-5 less.

- Great Casting, Nice Design, Thin Profile Darter, Great Action and Noise in the water.
Cons
- Bit Pricey for the design and feel, but that's more personal than a flaw.
