Jinkai Crimp for Jinkai Leader

Perfect crimps are obtained when using the matching sized Jinkai crimp for the Jinkai Mono leader. Used non Jinkai crimps for the Jinkai Mono and the fit and finish were not as clean or as tight and secure as using Jinkai crimps with the Jinkai leader.

Aluminum crimps for Jinkai line crimp nicely and are perfectly match as expected for Jinkai leader material. Diameters given work for other manufacturers line mono or fluoro as long as the diameter range for the sleeve and the line are adhered to and matched closely.

In regards to the listed 'Line Diameter" sizes; are these the size of line that you can put 2 of in the barrel and crimp, or the size of 1 line that can be crimped? For example, the 900# test shows line diameter of 3.00mm. Does this mean it can accept a doubled-up 3.00mm line or only a doubled-up 1.50mm line?

You would need a double barrel sleeve not a single barrel for that size line diameter.Â

Hi Khaled, The Jinkai Sleeves are used just like the standard double barrel sleeves while only have a single barrel construction. We recommend going with the size H barrel sleeve to work with your range of line usage. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with!

However, I would recommend American Fishing Wire Double Barrel Sleeves. https://www.tackledirect.com/american-fishing-wire-double-barrel-sleeves.html These are double barrel crimps and will be ideal for many fishing applications. I tried to crimp 300 lb Ande line into the F sleeves that I bought from you and it wouldn't fit twice through. I then tried a C sleeve with 600 lb Hi Seas Gramd Slam leader and it wouldn't even fit once through.
Now what? Do I go up a size?

300lb Ande line is 1.9mm in diameter and the F sleeve is for line 1.56mm in diameter. This manufacturer is basing these specs off of their own line and so the lb test and corresponding sleeve will fit properly for JINKAI line.
You'll have to get the D sleeves for the Ande Line. The 600lb Hi Seas Gramd Slam leader is 3,0mm in diameter so you will have to get the A sleeve in order for it to fit.
