Took a few of these on a recent 8-day trip out of San Diego. I got a lot of strange looks from my fellow fisherman, but that stopped when I started hammering the big yellows. I used a Shimano Trinidad 16 narrow loaded with 80lb braid, and a short Japanese style jigging rod.
