I got the XXL to go over a vest this winter. At 50 mph in the boat blowing 12 kt I stayed completely dry and with no wind effect, very pleased. I now live on the Mississippi Gulfcoast . But the jacket performed as expected as if I was in Jersey.

Hi Gail, According to Jetty Life, The Jetty Oyster Shell Jacket has a liner in the hood of the jacket. The body of the jacket itself is a single lined jacket which is only 1 thin shell. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
