This is an amazing product, way better than the traditional way of someone holding a line spool with a screwdriver etc...and pressing to aquire the right pressure to spool tightly,just secure this to a platform and your line spool tighten to the desire pressure and start cranking.

I have used ul line all the way to big game stuff. The only complaint is it doesn’t like cold weather.

Not including the base plate to mount this more effectively is one thing, charging nearly $40 for it is just obnoxious!

This spooler has been the best one I have purchased. It is well built and should last a lifetime. Getting used to the brake system will take some getting used to.

Works like it should

I saw some review from Australia about this spooling tools. I always spool my braid lines for my inshore or light tackles but want to proceed more spooling myself for offshore heavy tackle but with no adequate tools. This Bees Knees spooler is the best spooling tool, with adjustable drag to tweek line tension, which is the most important aspect when spooling offshore reels. This tools serves me for Makaira 16 with 100 Lb braid spooling with proper tension, as long as all of my heavy tackles. Top notch spooling tool!

I was skeptical at first about this because of the cost, but after owning one, I can say it's totally worth it!

I spool a few 30's and 50's conventionals with braid that takes a lot of line capacity. This tool makes life SO MUCH easier and provides consistent tension.

This thing is great. Best thing about it the build quality is high, puts out even drag tension on the spool to really pack on the braid tight.

This thing is the real deal. No longer need to beg another person to hold the spool for you.

Recommended from a friend that bought one, solid construction & enough drag pressure to pack line onto spool. If you have been using to wife and screwdriver method, pony up the doe and buy this rig.

This is a very handy tool if like spooling your own stuff.
The tensioning is very precise.
A little pricy but i bieve well worth it.
It travels will me in all my teips away from home where a bait shop maynot have the capability to spool reels
