Jay Jigs Heavy Duty 6' Gaffs were developed to withstand the beating of offshore game fish as well as being used to help ease the dangers of putting on the tail rope in bad conditions. This Gaff is made with a 7/16in thick American 316 Stainless Steel round bar installed in a virtually indestructible E-Glass shaft. The hook is cut, turned and bent by Jay in-house, providing precise quality control. Gaff the tail, lift it out of the water and put the tail rope on with control. All Jay Jigs Gaffs are built to float if they happen to go overboard.
