I'm sold on JAW Lures, first time out!
July 30, 2018
I had a chance to try my new JAW Lure, blue/silver belly pattern while fishing with a friend the other day. We had been trolling offshore for not quite ten minutes when my pole darn near came out of the pole holder. I fought this fish for nearly a half hour, never seeing color, while watching my line disappear run after run. My line tangled then snapped , my fish story of a lifetime. The one that got away. I will be replacing that same color pattern lure and hunting that monster down ! Thanks JAWs Lures !
Pros
  • Immediate action
Cons
  • None, other than not having a backup.

I researched this product and was impressed by other reviews. I plan in using these during the fall Mahi migration south.

i do i have something to say is that you guys should either double crimp or make a better crimp on the loop that goes on a swivel because the crimp wasnt tight enough and started to slip the line and tightened it around the swivel. Other than that, your lures are great

How is the second lure attached to the first? Does it use another swivel? A separate line attached to the main leader with a knot? Seems like there would be pros and cons for each and would like to know before I purchase

Hi Charles. The JAW Lures Mahi-Mahi Slayer uses a crimp that connects the trailer lure to the main line. The larger trailer is run behind the smaller lure which mimics baitfish behavior. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
