Icom IC-M424G Fixed Mount VHF Marine Transceivers deliver built-in GPS and active noise cancellation, resulting in a truly simple installation! Incorporating Icom's common Marine Family User Interface, the IC-M424G Transceiver was designed for easy and intuitive operation, with a directional keypad and rotary selector providing quick access to intended functions, and a high contrast white backlit LCD and laser-cut keypad for a nice modern look.

Built-in features include a GPS receiver, Class D DSC, active noise cancellation, and a 10W amplifier. The GPS receiver shows your current position, date/time and can be used for DSC calls. DSC watch functionality allows you to monitor Ch.70 (DSC channel) activity, even while receiving another channel, and additional DSC functions include individual, distress, all ships, group, urgency, safety, polling request, position request/report, and DSC test calls. Active noise cancelling reduces background noise in the received signal by as much as 90% and 30% in the transmits signal, providing superb performance. The 10W amplifier increases audio output to an external PA speaker, and enables additional features like public address and foghorn.

The Icom IC-M424G Fixed Mount VHF Marine Transceiver can be used with optional accessories (not included) such as the COMMANDMIC or MA-500TR Class B AIS Transponder to unlock additionally capabilities. The optional white backlit COMMANDMIC makes using the IC-M424G from a separate tower or cabin convenient, allowing for all functions of the IC-M424G, such as intercom, to be controlled from the COMMANDMIC. The AIS target call function of the IC-M424G, when connected to the optional MA-500TR, allows you to make individual DSC calls without manually entering an MMSI number.
