Purchased a 197c DI for my son for Christmas. Bought the TM mount to go with it, so he could mount it on the atM on his Olde Towne canoe for fishing the lake behind his house.
I have to say I was really amazed at the down imaging capabilities of this unit. Big things in a small package. Sonar is very clear too. The 4†screen takes some getting used to after using larger units on my bassboat, but the 197c is an excellent small unit if you’re looking for something for a small boat, and need a degree of portability.
