Hi-Seas Grand Slam Fluorocarbon Coated fishing line is an extra strong, 100% copolymer with a fluorocarbon outer coating. The line is virtually invisible and can be used in any water conditions. It is a top choice when visibility is a concern, such as fishing in clear shallow waters or in top water.

Made from the highest quality copolymer, Grand Slam Fluorocarbon Coated is extremely supple and easy to cast using bait casting and spinning reels. The line is ultra manageable, easy to knot and delivers high knot strength and abrasion resistance.

Good fishing line!

This is quality fishing line, especially for the price. I pair it on my Medium fast action rod with a crawfish. Fluorocarbon is great because its almost invincible in the water. It's groovy and I dig it.

This line is very kinky it seems to be old line and also big around for 10 pound test. Reason I rated a 3-star because of the strength of the line.

Good for Inshore Trolling

I have used this on all my Avet SXJ 5.3 Single Speed reels for inshore trolling and its a very good relaible line to have, good knot strength and you do not require a fluorocarbon leader either with this line

What kind of knot is best for this type of line? Is Palomar knot good?
1 Answer
A palomar knot will be fine. Any knot will work fine with no slipping. You could also tie a uni knot or even a basic clinch knot.
