I’ve been using HI-SEAS 100% Fluorocarbon for several years now, and it has become my favorite by bar. I’ve used every brand from Seaguar, Sunline, Bass Pro, Lake Fork, Sufix, and Yo Zuri, and none of them are as durable as HI-SEAS. There has been several times that I’ve gone for more than a year without respooling a reel because of its superior abrasion resistance and resistance to fading. I’ve used all sizes from 6-20lb test, putting them through the heaviest of cover and structure with getting nicked near as often as other brands. I’ve even caught gar on a glide bait without getting broke off. I do recommend, however, that you purchase a line size lower than you would with other brands because of its thicker diameter. It also has just the right amount of memory in their 8-12lb test lines, making them perfect for fishing reaction baits like squarebills (12lb), jerkbaits (10-12lb), and medium to deep diving crankbaits (8-12lb). For magnum crankbaits I’d use 15lb test. I’d recommend HI-SEAS 100% Fluorocarbon to anyone.

I like this line. Spools up nicely. Knot strength is good
