No 6 is the perfect size for whitebait in S FL in my experience. I always carry a couple larger or smaller just in case, but the number 6 is the first one in the water.

Whats the line strength of the main line and branch? As for the hook sizes, are the lesser number bigger?

Hi Rafael, The Hayabusa S-005AE Hage Kawa Sabiki Rig have lines as follows. Hook Size 3 has mono branch 3lb and main line of 5lb, Hook Size 4 and Size 6 have mono branch 7lb and main line of 13lb, Hook Size 8 has a mono branch of 10lb and a main line of 17lb. For these Hayabusa Sabiki Rigs Hook Size 3 is the smallest size and Hook Size 8 is the largest size. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
