When I received my pliers last year, I was surprised at the quality of these pliers. This was the first set that the jaws actually matched up. They they cut through braid, mono and FC without a hitch. However, on one occasion I tried to use them to cut thicker wire. Big mistake. They cannot, and that action put a big nick in the cutters. My mistake. I know. The problem is that replacement cutters are no longer available through TD. TD Customer Service informed me that were no longer carrying the Hansom line. So now I have a useless pair of pliers that I paid good $$$ for. Not happy. So my advice? Stay away.
