hansom has good quality stainless steel material.
it last long with saltwater use.
blunt tip is awesome helpful with dealing with oyster or abalone.

i bot this as backup for surf fishing. Weight is ok. Seems secure if i get hit by a wave. The knife does not have a sharp edge to it.
disappointing when i went to cut some braid, had to work it ,fortunately was in garage and not the water. but as a backup, it is ok.
The belt loop is pretty narrow as well. probably wont fit to my surfbelt but may be ok if hung on surf bag strap. I have several Hansom products
so went with their name as I am happy with the brand.

Does the sheath have belt loops or just a clip to attach it to your surf belt?

The sheath has just a plastic clip to attach the knife to your surf belt, no belt loops.
