I bought the Large and it was a perfect fit. I’m 5’7 and 160lbs. It’s light weight and great quality in my opinion. It’s my go to non rainy day dry top since it has no hood. This jacket is great for days that are not too cold but chilly enough for a light dry top. Although it’s light weight it does keep you warm so not for use in the summer. I do not wear layers under this jacket, it’s perfect for just a t shirt/long sleeve shirt or some kind of single layer thermal. For multiple layering underneath during the colder months I wear my XL size guy cotton dry top with a hood.

I'm 6'1 190lbs and found the XL to be a perfect fit. I originally ordered the Large and found the sleeves would ride up after I cast. It wasn't so much of a sleeve length issue but more the back wasn't wide enough. Ordering the XL solved that issue.

Really nice jacket to protect from wind and spray. Plenty of layering room. No hood so during the really rainy days I would go to my hooded heavier jacket. The front pocket is a really nice feature, plenty big for gloves, hat, leader, phone, etc and folds over itself to prevent water intrusion from taking a wave or being rained on. I would put your electronics in a bag just in case.

Two thing I would change is to add a hood, even if its a detachable one via velcro or something along those lines and extend the bottom waist velcro so the waist flaps don't pull on the non-velcro material.

Surf top is awesome!! Keeps u dry and the wind off you. The only thing I wish it had was a hood
