Guides Secret Shore Catch Needle Stick Lures
The Needle Stick level sinking lure mimics a Sand Eel bait in a classic wood plug style. A myriad of retrieves create different actions. Most popular: let the lure sink down, then reel, twitch, stop, using rod tip to add action.

- 6-1/4 inches, 1-3/8 oz.
- Stainless Steel through-wired
- Heavy Duty hangers
- VMC 3X Strong PermaSteel Rust-Resistant Hooks
- Wolverine Triple Row split rings (120 LB Test)
- Extra loud rattles to entice strikes from wary fish
- Tough 3X clear coat finish
Good standard color selection and finish seems pretty good.
Not to my liking, was that the triple wrap split rings as equipped do not turn / spin freely in the hook hangers. Yes they're strong but the hooks almost being fixed in place inhibits the swimming motion (not necessarily that much in a needle)and provides leverage for big fish to straighten hooks or otherwise free themselves.
As the other commenters stated, swapping out for single tail hooks or replacing the split rings with something more size appropriate but still strong, will fix this issue - and most big bass fishermen are used to altering and upgrading hard-ware on many plugs anyway.
