Great Popper

Best all-around inshore pooper. Good distance on casts and great action in the water. Super durable even against large bluefish.

the popper is hands down the best as far as a combination of casting distance and popping action.the color range on these poppers fills the need for all conditions. Will purchase again when these last two are worn out from fighting fish.
Pros
  • very enticing splash when popped. Calls fish from a great distance.
Cons
  • NONE

Replace the rear hook with an inline VMC or a Siwash and you are good to go. It's very productive.

Has its good and bad...
October 2, 2014
The plug casts really great and comes in really nice finishes. It also has a VERY loud rattle which can be good on those merky-water days. But I noticed its a little more difficult to get the plug to throw a lot of water as opposed to typical little neck poppers. Would recommend the buyer try other poppers first.
Pros
  • Colors, Hardware, Castability, perfect weight & size for most inshore fishing.
Cons
  • The back treble gets hooked on the mainline a LOT during popping. Should be replaced with a dressed Siwash hook instead of a treble given the nature of how this plug is supposed to be retrieved.
