This lure presents a profile of an injured immature Menhaden, or “Pogie”. Use it when any large bait is prevalent. Reminiscent of a wooden metal-lipped swimmer, and plastic plugs of the old days, in calm water reel slowly with rod tip up, to create a “wake” bait action, this will help in the attraction of your prey. Keep tip low and twitch to create an enticing wag and wobble. Moderate to fast retrieve makes plug dive several feet down. Perfect for catching Striped Bass, Bluefish and Tuna, among many others.

Bought two of these, one runs straight and true the other will not stay down while trolling.. The bad one is all right for casting with a slow retrieve.

Bigger profile than the average minnow plug. Casts alright, swims extremely well and catches fish. Good quality hooks and split rings too.

The rattles in this lure are great! It is equipped with VMCs and Wolverine Split rings so I don't have to change the hooks!

This lure casts surprisingly well for its shape and balance. has a fantastic action and the 3d bunker color is phenomenal!!
Pros
- fantastic hardware from the manufacturer, great wiggle action with loud rattles.
Cons
- dives pretty deep, so its not suited for the gradual-slope beach fisherman or the boulder-field adventurer. much better suited for the deep water jetty crowd or could make for an excellent trolling lure in the bays if youre a boat guy
