Light weight, breathable and comfortable. Just what I was looking for to put on in a pinch in case of light rain or spray.

Much better quality than I expected. Sizing was perfect, adjusting it to fit is easy with all the different way points.

This is a great sub $100 jacket/shell that is pretty waterproof and windproof. It fits well and allows for good movement. I'll wear it with my light bibs or waterproof pants for cooler days, under 60 degrees.

The Grunden jacket is made well. The jacket seam are welded and shell is light but durable! This jacket can be worn all season long,just add a sweater in late fall and winter.

Keeps you dry and warm, its also durable and has convenient pockets and nice large hood. Definitely a good purchase for fishing in the cold wet weather

It has only been within the last year I have been able to $afford$ much better quality rain and surf gear. I didn't go $overboard$ with this purchase...I wanted to see if the garb is worth its $salt$!!! For me this top is 'AWESOME' and will last me a lifetime!! I now see why you $pay$ more for a quality product. Don't hesitate when it comes to the Grundens brand name. Oh!! I'd suggest you try on the top over whatever you plan to wear underneath. This top runs a little size on in size!!! You may want to order a size up??? It is not breathable either...so it can get warm in August. Ha!! (Who wears rain gear surf fishing in August?) Excellent lightweight rain gear for a good price

The jacket looked really good but I'm a tall guy who does a lot of saltwater wading above my waist. The jacket kept popping out of my wading belt, jacket needs to be at least 3-4 inches longer. OK for average sized guys

Just as described and shipped fast . The jacket and pants are the most durable clothing for what ever harsh work or play conditions you experiance.

I bought this jacket to wear during the warmer months for Surf Fishing in fowl weather. I was surprised when I opened the package, just how durable it was. And for under $40! I have yet to wear it in the rain, so I cannot speak fop it being completely weather proof. However, I wanted to leave a review because the sizes run very small.

I typically wear a XXL in jackets of this sort. When buying fishing gear, I buy one size larger to accommodate layering underneath. In this case however, had I bought a 3XL, it would have been very tight, and the waist to small, even without wearing waders. As it sits just below the waist. I am 6'3" 260 lbs., with a 40" waist, and I bought a 4XL. And it fits great. I am able to cast without issue. So if you plan on buying this jacket, and want to layer, it may be a good idea to upsize at least once or even twice. Do not pay any attention to Grundens' Size Chart. It is way off.

Other than this it is a great jacket. I do not want to give it less stars than it deserves. So for now, I will give it 4 stars, based on durability, fit, price, and the size issue. If it proves itself during the rain or rough surf, I would give it 5 stars and look past the sizing error. And all for under $50!
