will these work for older pants that used metal wire ends ??

Hi Mark, The Grundens SUS16 Replacement Suspenders are designed to be used with Grunden bibs that have plastic clips on them. These are not intended to be used for pants that don't use plastic clips. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
