This was to have come with a magnetic scabbard to hold the knife in place whether mounted upsided down or right side up on my Grunden rain pants suspenders.
No magnets and knife fits too loose in the hard plastic scabbard to stay in place at all.
It musta been a trick all along and I fell for it. I'd give it zero stars if that were an option.

This is my third second grunden knife I've purchased and it's a great knife for cutting up bait or safety cut away knife. Handle has a great grip and the holster is well made as well. I usually open up the clasp to put on my grunden bib shoulder strap. The knife is not straight edge but it's serrated like a steak knife.

i used it as an emergency knife clipped on to my grundens bibs on my shoulder strap or sometime on the belt...
more then one way to attach.

This is a great inexpensive knife. I wear it for safety and also use it to gut tuna...it's more than sharp enough!

It is cool knife can wear like bayonet.
Horizintaly or vertical way.
I like serrated blade it does no require to sharpen up..
still cutting ability last forever

I use this knife for cutting bait, gutting tuna and as a safety knife while fishing. Its durable, and sharp! Works well for what it is.

I purchased this Desk Knife to use on own boat and charters. Was looking for a solid all around knife that could carry on Bibs and also have from a safety standpoint in the event of any line issues / entanglement.

Did not know that it was serrated, but it will work.

This serrated knife is very sharp and the versatile sheath will attach to a belt or suspenders, so it is always at the ready.

I bought this knife to wear while Surf Fishing. Just in case I needed it in an emergency. And I do not believe that this knife would have any trouble getting through the wader material if need be. Or anything else, within reason of course. And it is made by Grundens, known to make quality products.

The knife is serrated, and comes sharp, right out of the box. And it stays tight in the provided sheath. So you can wear it any way you choose. The sheath is made of hard plastic, and you are able to secure it to yourself, one of two ways. One way is the belt loop in it. The second is upside down. You can secure it to your wader or bib suspender strap through a strap securer(for lack of a better word or description) that has teeth in it so the sheath will not slide down on you. And the knife stays in the sheath, no worries! I would like to see Grundens come out with the same or similar knife but with a sheath that has straps on it. Similar to a diver's knife.

Do what you will with this knife. It has many uses. I would recommend this knife to anyone that needs a knife at the ready. This is probably one of the better knives that you can buy for under $20.00!
