Been doing a lot more saltwater kayak fishing, so I finally put aside my old Patagonia Sweet Fish Bag. This backpack is spacious, almost cavernous. There’s a single flap on the interior that can hold items and three mesh pockets on the exterior. This bag isn’t for compartmentalizing gear, it’s to hold lots of stuff and to keep it dry. Feels sturdy and well-made. Time will tell but so far it’s doing the job.

The quality of this bag is top notch. Great bag for keeping gear and tackle dry. Very comfortable to wear even when loaded down with some weight.

It appears very well made (of course will be - it is a Grundens..). Thick material and nice looking "welds". it is rummy and will be able to support everything i need for long day on the river. Recommended it to my friend, after he saw it, he plans to buy one too.

well built material, wish there is more compartments for different usage. the only defect mine has is that the waist belt buckle can be undone with little effort by pulling it.

Best backpack ever. Waterproof and even has a zipper pouch on the inside for your wallet, phone etc. also has large external pouch for quick access items and 2 side pouches. This is my go to fishing and hunting bag. Keeps everything organized and dry.

This is my all time favorite go-to bag. No complaints whatsoever.

Though I wish it had more than one compartment (and one small zipper pouch inside), it is a great bag and it keeps my clothes dry when I’m on the boat or otherwise near the water. It feels heavy duty to me. Im a fan!

If you surf-fish, this is a great pack to have. Thick material, and was quite stiff at first, but it's breaking in nicely. Could use more interior pockets for additional organizing options, but otherwise, it's great. Might even be a little too big even.

Waterproof keeps you belongings dry. I keep my clothes for multi-day trips in here. Looks like it will last for a long time.

Bought this backpack because I was caught six hours in a torrential downpour while watching a spartan race. My old backpack completely soaked through. After doing some research I bought this backpack and have not been disappointed. Exactly as described and it absolutely keeps everything dry! Wish I had this last year!!

I ordered this backpack a few years ago and have used it on every single fishing trip I’ve been on since then and it has held up to every test. It is still perfectly waterproof, the mesh has not deteriorated and the clips have held up strong. The best feature is no exterior zippers to corrode or break due to extended use. I was tired of my fishing gear and tackle getting soaking wet if we get caught in the rain. That means going home to unpack every single lure, pliers, spare lines, etc to spread all over the house to get dry. This backpack came as the solutions to this problem. What I did is to fit my tackle bag inside the backpack to transport it to the boat or to a location if I am walking. Once there I pull out my tackle bag and fish as normal. If rain happens (already did) I just pack my gear and put my tackle bag inside the waterproof backpack. It may sound complicate it but it is not. I already tested this system and works smoothly. In addition if walking having my gear inside a backpack makes it easy to carry. The backpack is well built and so far has kept my gear dry.
