Super Warm and waterproof except from the bottom if you are kneeling in a boat with water sloshing around...then again, no pants are waterproof in all situations. Pairs well with the matching Grundens SUND top.

When you're out targeting blackfish in November & December these waist pants will keep you toasty warm and dry. Love the fleece lining, blocks bone chilling elements. Great Alternative to wearing a full bib. A must for any serious angler!

Quality skins, I never liked the full suspender grundens due to the bulk and restriction around the shoulders, although they are great for commercial fishing. In cold weather conditions, with the right windbreaker combination, these grundens are great!!! Less restriction on movement, very elastic, and comfortable, and with the same quality of the commercial type. I will be using these all winter, and in Alaska next year salmon fishing.

- lightweight, no shoulder or torso restriction, belt to put on pliers or accessories, velcro boot strap to keep tight and water out.

Is it easy to pull these on and off as needed over top of regular clothes? Or are they meant to be worn as stand alone pants?

Very easy to pull over clothes. The bands on the sides are very elastic.
